SIXTEEN X S2AU

Sixteen Touring and Photofusion commissioned Sorry2AnnoyU on their last touring exhibition. This exhibition was up from the 7th of February- 15th of March. We have created an interactive space, to bring together artist at various stages of their photographic practice. As young creatives growing up in London, we felt passionate about representing the talent from all areas of society

Sixteen is an age of transition. It’s a time of increasing peer pressure, risk taking, and anxiety about social and personal worth. It can be turbulent and challenging for adolescents on the cusp of adulthood as they try to find their place in a society that often seems oblivious of their concerns.

AUTOGRAPH ABP X UAL
5 - 15 Feb 2020

“Responding to the rapidly shifting political and social climate they live in” Working with 20, 16-20 y/o young people to help facilitate the Album course for the Insights programme. Leading an exhibition in Autograph ABP in Shoreditch.

Each year, Album offers young people from sixth form and further education colleges the opportunity to work with artists, photographers and curators to develop their practice and create new work. The programme is inspired by the notion of the family album, with its intimate, personal and revealing visual records

Based at London College of Communication and Central Saint Martins, the students collaborated on assignments which introduced them to a range of photographic genres and techniques. The 2018 Album showcase celebrates the students’ ambitious ideas as they create their own photographic narratives and find their place in contemporary practice.
